Consult the measures taken by Sciences Po Grenoble

This page will be updated regularly to inform you about the measures and decisions taken by Sciences Po Grenoble in the context of the Coronavirus / COVID-19 epidemic. It also provides links to information sites related to the disease.

To comply with the presidential instructions relating to the non-resumption of face-to-face courses in French universities before September 2020, Sciences Po Grenoble is organizing the end of the academic year remotely.

In accordance with the announcements made by the President of the Republic Monday April 13 and in the interests of clarity and health security, the premises of the IEP will not be re-opened to students for classes or exams in person before the back to school in September. This principle applies to the entire UGA site and was adopted Tuesday, April 14 in CFVU by the UGA and Thursday, April 16 by the CEVIE of Sciences Po Grenoble. The Board of Sciences Po Grenoble must still validate these terms on April 27, 2020.

Sciences Po Grenoble’s educational continuity plan includes:

  • the organization of distance courses via digital tools
  • access to all of the online documentation
  • modified assessment methods for semester 2 and for the semester 1 and 2 retakes

The educational calendar remains unchanged.

The current confinement and the uncertainty about the organisation and timing of the end of lockdown have led us to take into account the technical or social difficulties of a certain number of students.

The administrative and technical services of Sciences Po Grenoble continue to operate remotely.

Finally, in this unprecedented period where many students are confined and isolated in their university residences on Grenoble campuses or in small accommodation, the IEPG and the UGA are also keen to continue to support their students in a variety of ways:

We wish you resilience in this strange period and hope you enjoy your academic work. Take care!

Classes will continue online, organised by the professor as for the French students. If you do the assignments, you should be able to validate the module (even if you have returned home).  Your professors will get in touch with you.
There is no obligation for you to go home, unless your university asks you to do so. If you wish to return, for personal reasons, you need to contact Contact Incomingmobility: incomingmobility@sciencespo-grenoble.fr in order to discuss and arrange the details of the online academic validation of your classes.
Check your @iepg.fr email address regularly, keep working every day as you would for a normal workweek, and respect the health authorities’ sanitary guidelines.
